From 9 am to 3pm, we start the day with a yoga session and then enter the world of acroyoga, and end the day with a liberating session of Thai massage, people who like can take a tour of the hot springs since we will stay several hours d afternoon and night to enjoy.

This workshop contains the detailed explanation of the power of transcendental sound and the meaning of the sacred mantras in Sanskrit. It consists mainly of deep meditation on mantras and Divine Songs. These songs are transcendental sound vibrations that connect with the soul and with the Spiritual Divine Reality. Prema-Bhakti - transcendental love and devotion - is the method to be able to completely satisfy the being. Therefore, the chanting of these mantras is the most powerful form of meditation in the present. The talk is about the most confidential knowledge of the Universe, THE VEDAS, which are the oldest sacred writings on the planet, coming from India. Issues that concern the essence and supreme occupation for all humanity.

Day 1

- What is bhakti?

- The heart and essence of Yoga

- The 7 effects of reciting the divine mantras

- Description of the essence of all the Vedas

- Meditation with mantras and recitation

- Kirtan (divine chants and mantras with traditional instruments of India)

Day 2

- Talk (Jarí Katha) on transcendental knowledge of the wisdom of India

-How to awaken the divine eye of transcendental intuition

- What is the soul? What is yoga? What is nitya-dharma?

- Complete immersion in recitation of mantras

Kirtan (divine chants with instruments from India)

All participants will receive a sacred wooden necklace from India called Tulasi for mantra meditation.

Intro to Ahstanga Workshop

This is a workshop created to deepen into the main elements that make up Ashtanga Yoga, which has been known since ancient times as the traditional or classical yoga of India. From it derive the various styles and types of yoga that have been developed and modified today to meet the needs of the contemporary population.

The Ashatanga Yoga was transmitted by the teacher Sri K. Pattabhi Jois, precursor of yoga for the modern world. This yoga method involves the synchronization of the breath with progressive series of asanas (postures) thus creating an energetic fluidity (vinyasa). It is characterized as a dynamic and vigorous yoga practice. This process generates a physical cleansing, cleanses and detoxifies the main systems, glands and organs of the body, especially the central nervous system. In the energy field, it renews the energy layers of the most subtle bodies.

During the workshop we will delve into the following aspects:

History and philosophy of Ashtanga Yoga.

Vital energy (prana) and nervous system.

Channel of the vertebral column (sushumna nadi) and its relationship with the cerebral hemispheres.

Pranayamas (techniques and breathing exercises).

Bandhas and energy activations.

Improvisation practices and guided series of Ashtanga Yoga.

Meditation on Ashtanga Yoga practices.

There will be a physical practice of improvisation focused on the opening of the hips, followed by a meditation Yoga Nidra (deep relaxation) with sonotherapy and Tibetan bowls.

The practices related to the stimulation of the hips provide great benefits at the physical level: strengthening of the pelvic floor, of the genital organs and of the reproductive system, also prepare the muscles, ligaments and tendons for postures of greater corporal expansion such as deep arches (back bends).

The work of the hips is related to the water element of the body, this influences the emotional system, allowing us through this type of postures to contact our deepest feelings and sensations, as well as remove the accumulated energy and identify knots or blockages in the energy field.

The hips are also related to the development of creativity, the gestation of new ideas and projects, the ability to flow in everyday life and in our relationships, sacred sexuality and the connection with the center of power.

At the end of a deep practice focused on the area of your hips you can experience feelings of inspiration, feelings of peace with yourself and with the people around you, clarity and lucidity.

NOTE: Take a cloth or small towel and water, avoid the intake of heavy food at least two hours before the workshop.

Posture Clinic and Aligment WorkShop with Amanda Hippert

Owner & Manager of La Fortuna Yoga, Amanda Hippert will be offering a workshop to learn more about the alingment of the most popular and basic yoga postures. An ideal workshop for those who are just beginning their practice or who wish to learn more and improve their practice.

We will go over in detail about the body structure of each person and how each body acquires the postures in a very different way from others.

These posture clinics are very important to be able to advance in our practice and get to better understand our body.

Amanda has been teaching yoga for 8 years, and practicing for over 10 years non-stop, carefully exploring this science of the body. Amanda has trained with world-renowned professors and has taught in several studios around the United States, which has seen and learned many versions of how to modify a posture for multiple variety of bodies and how diverse and infinite the practice of Yoga is.

Its goal is to get each person to connect more and more with their practice finding that inner peace.

We will be working and learning about the arches and spine extensions from Yoga asanas. The arches are very stimulating postures that give you a feeling of joy and freedom to the practices; this are postures that makes blood rush through the spine which improves the distribution of energy to the body. Those and more benefits can be received from backbends.
We will explore some exercises in pairs, as well as acroyoga air lifts to make the practice more profound and fun, an opportunity to bring happiness to others, to better ourselves and explore our body into different comfort zones.
